The M. Crist Fleming Library for TASIS
The American School in Switzerland
The Library is an infill building, framing a new piazza and reinvigorating the existing terrace of the adjacent Monticello building. The facade articulates the Library's importance for the academic life of the campus.
New ESL Center, TASIS
The American School in England
The new ESL center is an addition to an existing building. It addresses the new campus entry, and redefines a former parking lot as positive outdoor space. Its details draw on local precedents.
The Gymnasium for TASIS
The American School in Switzerland
The largest of the buildings in the master plan, the new facility is actually a multi-use building that accommodates sports functions, all-school meetings, academics, dance & music practice spaces, a fitness center, and offices. Its section takes advantage of the hillside to provide entries at all levels.
The Gymnasium & Theatre Extensions for TASIS
The American School in England
A major extension to both the existing gymnasium and theatre, the new facilities also are part of a general reorganization of the back of campus as a new visitors' entry, and present a simple, elegant facade to the road.
The Aurora Classrooms for TASIS
The American School in Switzerland
Completed in 2006, this new villa outside the campus' villaggio has classrooms and a temporary theater space.
The Health Centre for TASIS
The American School in England
A new health centre (with classrooms above), attached onto an 18th century coach house, significantly upgrades the school's health facilities.
